Soft Italian Nougat (Chocolate)

Quaranta is one of the finest Nougat makers in Italy. Based in Caravaggio just North East of Milan the company has been making and perfecting Nougat since 1924. The Chocolate Nougat contains Almonds and Hazelnuts and is marbled with chocolate running through it, as well as pieces of chocolate in it, and finally it is cocoa dusted. Egg whites honey and sugar make the basis of this fine product . The Nougat is made in the shape of a large cake then cut and interleaved to make the individual pieces.
